This is our much loved Honesty Shed. It is closed for the winter now but will reopen on 1st April 2020. You can still contact us for orders.
While the Shed is closed for the winter we will be making Fish & Chips (with other options) served on a Friday evening from 12-7.30 and on a Saturday and a Sunday from 12-4.

Here at Mollans' we take our environment very much at the forefront of what we do.
There are lots of initiatives we have taken from reducing food miles to using recyclable containers where we can. Waste is reduced as much as is possible.
Neither Rachel nor I have any allergies but we are committed to produce food that is inclusive to as many people as possible. If you have special dietary needs then please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate them.
We are committed to producing food that does not contain Palm Oil.
If you click the link below you will see why we have taken this stance and how difficult it has been.
From luscious Lemon drizzle cakes to rich chocolate fudge cakes. Seasonal Gorse cakes and red cover cakes with flowers picked within 2 miles from the kitchen.
Almost all biscuits you can buy in the supermarkets here on the island seem to contain the dreaded palm oil. NONE of ours do and they are beautifully crunchy and tasty.
Fresh bread which can be ordered any time. Bread and rolls soft, crisp and fresh or straight from the freezer in into the microwave if you are in a rush.
Our pies are so fully of goodness they should be banned *smile*, Again, no palm oil and the range includes Forfar Bridies, Scottish Steak and Ale, Chicken and Mushroom, Hogget and even a superb vegan spicy pasty.
We offer a delicious assortment of ready made meals, some fresh and some frozen. Our usual selection includes Mac cheese, curries, quiche and so much more. We try to make as much of it Gluten Free as we can.
Great to stock up for the freezer knowing all the food is freshly made without added preservatives, colours etc. We offer a service for those of you who holiday up here to save you having to shop on the way.
We make all sorts of preserves when the season allows us to.
Pickled onions, Pickled Eggs, Piccalilli, Jams and speciality marmalades are all to be found here
Rachel's Christmas cakes are gluten free buy packed with booze. It is really hard to buy a palm oil free celebration cake so we are even more proud of the these and the feedback we receive.
Sausage rolls, Boozy crisp mince pies and so much more. Our mince pies are made in limited numbers and can be baked fresh to order or alternatively many of our customers like to buy them frozen raw to cook at home when they fancy them.
We make many things on an evening when the oven is off and the log fire is burning. New for Winter 2019 are these amazing reflective hats which are ideal for being seen on dark nights.
We can cater for picnics and parties with our fame being for palm oil free and being able to cater to specific dietary needs and considerations.
We love to bring you fresh produce, lovingly prepared and baked with care.
Sometimes from the simplest ideas come the tastiest cakes and bread.
What makes you feel more comforted than a freshly made warm slice of bread with home made rhubarb and ginger jam smothered on top? Show someone how much they mean to you by bringing them one of our beautiful cakes. Every one is uniquely different but consistently deeeeelicious.
We don't like anything artificial and that goes for the baking too!
If you need to add preservatives, artificial colours, artificial sweeteners etc then it is unlikely to be something you will see leave our kitchen.
We also hate waste so often you will see "specials" offered for sale when something is in season - and that could be as simple as summer fruits to autumn flowers.
We have all heard our Grannies telling us "waste not, want not" and in the shadow of these wise ladies, we continue with this excellent advice.
Why would you let good food go to waste in the first place? We make our own syrups and crystalised citrus fruit from excess good quality fruits rather than to throw them out. If you find yourself with a glut of fruit (ie rhubarb, apples etc) then let us know - we love to barter and are more than happy to swap for a lovely cake, preserve or freshly made bread.

To avoid waste over the winter months we shut the shed but are always happy to sell you eggs, bread and cakes from the kitchen, just ring the day before if you can to avoid disappointment.
We will be reopening on 1st April 2020
