With Grateful thanks to our good friends Reg, Catherine, Claire, Derek, Paula and Dave we were able to concrete a base, erect a shed and start the dream we both had to run our own business.
The shed is now sporting the new Mollans' sign made by Rachel using some left over wood and reclaimed rope (thanks June).
Jams, fresh eggs from our garden hens, selections of biscuits, cakes, bread and sweets (subject to availability) all ready for you to drool over, select and pop your payment into the honesty box in this lovely wooden dresser (bought from Cros Charity Shop which is awesome by the way).
After the photos you can see where to find us.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
To avoid waste over the winter months we shut the shed but are always happy to sell you eggs, bread and cakes from the kitchen, just ring the day before if you can to avoid disappointment.
We will be reopening on 1st April 2020
If you are coming from the North (from Ness, Barvas, Bragar) follow the road towards Shawbost. On entering Shawbost you will pass a large church on your left hand side. Take the next Right signposted Siabost bho Thuath. Follow this road for about 3/4 of a mile straight up (pass the shore road on your left). There is a slight incline and you will find Mollans' on your right hand side (look for the bungalow and cattle grid).
If you are coming from the South (from Carloway, Callanish, Uig) follow the road towards Barvas. You will pass a large wind turbine on your right and then 2 schools. Follow the road passing the fire station set back on the right and then take the next left signposted Siabost bho Thuath. Follow this road for about 3/4 of a mile straight up (pass the shore road on your left). There is a slight incline and you will find Mollans' on your right hand side (look for the bungalow and cattle grid).
